  44. You can create a file via DML. Using the cut and paste features in the editor,
  45. you could probable create a long list of field names fairly quickly, if i'm
  46. understanding what you want. However, i dont think there is any way to merge
  47. the fields of one file into another. i believe that "split" and "merge" refer
  48. to records in existing files.
